Work in Progress on Cyphreinc Podcasts Google Calendar.

When something sounds like a plan and a sorted idea at the time, you just never know how that there acorn of an idea will turn out? So for the now i thought i’d sort out the principles of a Google Calendar on this ‘ere post.

Get me head round a new pipeline idea of what’s what and how to sort out the agenda from the xml, to the messages and the events in Google Calendar and as usual jump in blindfolded and give it a go below.

Month View

Initially i’m only interested in the principles of embedding the calendar as opposed to adding events or information. Trying out both the Monthly & Agenda views to see how they look, so i may decide what suits in the future.

Agenda / Events View

In my head i was sorta thinking maybe i could use it to share one or two events, gigs, festivals or whatever over time that i’m interested in? Anyways for the now it’s in that there Cyphreinc Pipeline of thangs to do!

A Cyphreinc KIS is a rare thing at times. Keep it Simple they say! Once you get thy head round what you want to do and how best to achieve whatever, then the process of moving forward is sorted.

So I thought i’d add a Second ebook / epub and pdf to pass on the way i do what i do. Now i know it’s Mac based and i also appreciate that more than a few of you may know how to scale thy photos already, then again!

Often, the hardest thing to do i’ve found is understand new ways of doing things. What I mean to say is, that i know what i want to do, believe in meself enough to know that i can do whatever i want and then spend hours talking to the wall and waiting for the solution to appear.

It’s not that the answer ain’t already out there in T’internet land, it’s just that i’m not asking the right question and get side tracked by a variety of off the wall solutions that often lead down a blind alley and cost a few bob.

I also know that a walk with me girl(s) eventually always does the trick and that you now don’t have to worry ’bout resizing the thousands of photographs that you’ve taken, you can let Automator take the strain, save hours and get on with sorting out the whatever next?

So if your like me? Cyphreinc snap happy with thy phone or camera and have hundreds, even thousands of photographs that you’d like to resize or scale for use online then this illustrated guide just may be useful?

Like the man said “It’s something to do!”

Duplicating your original images may take up quite some space on thy hard drive so a back up space came in mighty handy for yours truly and thats fine in my book.

Creating the second Cyphreinc ebook, an illustrated guide in How to Duplicate and Rescale Photographs using Automator came in useful for having another go at trying to create an ebook / epub and pdf, this time using more than a few screenshots, i learnt quite a lot along the way which will come in handy later on.

Patience & persistence by the barrel load for yours truly. Always work in progress @Cyphreinc trying to iron out the kinks, continually striving to appreciate the subtleties of working with new ways of doing things and how best to share those new ideas?
